Mr. Wong King Wei
(LL.B [Hons.] London, CLP
Mr. Wong King Wei obtained his degree of Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) External Programme with the University of London in 2003. He sat for the Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) in 2005.
He was called to the Malayan Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor in 2006 after he went through his chambering with Messrs Cheang & Ariff Advocates.
Then he decided to come back to Sarawak. He started his chambering at Messrs Chong Brothers Advocates. He was called to Sarawak Bar in April 2007.
Three (3) years later, he set up his own firm — Messrs King Wei & Clement Advocates and Solicitors together with one of his law classmates in ATC — Mr. Clement Wong Teck Hoo.
In September of 2016, he establishes his own firm, namely, Messrs King Wei & Co Advocates. It has been more than 10 years, he continuously and consistently exposed to various matters especially in general litigation, civil, criminal and also conveyancing including goods sold and delivered cases, construction, family law, custody, matrimonial & divorce, mediation, running down, personal injury claims, drug related crimes, dangerous drugs offences, defamation, anti money laundering act offences, breach of contract, winding up proceedings, bankruptcy proceedings, employment cases, dispute settlements, tenancy, sales and purchase, caveat, Transmit and Transfer, WILL, probate, administration, banking loan, Charge, Discharge of Charge etc.
Despite of that, he is also having extensive experience in appeal matter in Appellate Court in matters revolving general litigation.
